Target Audience

While each BSides event is unique, we target the industry professional looking to offset or augment their current security skill set. These are industry leaders, thought leaders, information security professionals, and even students who wish to expand their body of knowledge. Their common goal is to learn and connect with others who share the same passion.

BSides provides a small and intimate environment for the attendees to directly engage the speaker before, during, and after their talk or presentation. Attendees are looking for more than just information; they are looking to make connections they will call upon throughout the rest of the year.

Latest news

Welcome to BSidesLisbon 2017

And we’re back! Back for the 4th time, which we hope to be even better than the previous editions :)

You might have noticed that this year we have 2 days. That’s right! By popular request we will be extending a little bit the conference, so the CTF will take place on the day before the talks/workshops, so everyone can enjoy the whole event. There are some other things planned for the 9th November, which we will announce in due time :)

Besides this change, the event will be as last year, since we had such good feedback (although we will take into account every suggestion made by you!). We’ll have 2 tracks for talks, and a room for workshops. We’ll have the great networking area for everyone to chill, talk, network, and lunch. And before you ask, yes, there will be Pastéis de Nata for everyone to enjoy!

By the way, the CFP is now officially open, so go submit!!! This year we will be supporting partially the expenses for some speakers, so, no excuses!!!

As you know we’re a not for profit, volunteer organised conference, so we rely on sponsors to make things happen. Please spread the word, and if you want to sponsor us, let us know!

More news will come soon. Stay tuned to our twitter account.
